Tapping to Stop Suppressing Emotions!
Stuffing. Avoiding. Ignoring. Pretending it didn't happen. These were things I used to do a lot. It's exhausting. And it certainly catches up with you - both physically and emotionally. It's time to stop suppressing emotions!
Are you a chronic stuffer? If so, know you have the power to change this. If I can change it, I have no doubt you can too.
Granted, it might be scary and uncomfortable to even think about feeling the feelings. This is normal. Yet, I promise you, it is absolutely possible. Give yourself grace. Remind yourself you are allowed to feel however you feel! There are no wrong feelings! Heck, there aren't even "good" feelings and "bad" feelings. Feelings are simply indicators. They can indicate where your heart is in the moment. But they do NOT have the power to dictate your behavior. You, my friend, are in charge of that!
