EFT for Regulating the Nervous System

Being Calm Is A Superpower!


EFT, yoga, meditation, sound healing and reiki all have one thing in common - they help to calm the nervous system.

In particular, EFT has been shown to reduce the amount of cortisol (the stress hormone) pumping through your body by up to 43%! That is a really, really, BIG number!

When we are talking about chronic stress, our amygdala (the alarm system in our brain) starts firing off in an attempt to protect us. Our brains can't tell the difference between a saber tooth tiger about to attack and an intense work deadline. They both trigger STRESS! So while cortisol is really helpful when you need to fight back or run away from danger, it's not helpful when triggered by day-to-day activities. Chronically high levels of cortisol can be harmful to your health causing problems like fatigue, irritability, weight gain, poor sleep, high blood pressure, anxiety, headaches, etc.
