Calming The Nervous System

When the nervous system is in a heightened state of awareness for a prolonged period of time, you can begin to experience both physical and emotional pain. That's why it's so important to regularly check in on how you're feeling, and calm your nervous system when feeling overwhelmed.

One of my most popular YouTube videos is on this exact topic. If you haven't already seen it, this simple tapping exercise will help ground you and bring you home to yourself. This week, I thought I'd share some additional techniques in addition to tapping that can help you calm the body and in turn calm the mind.
