Connect with Signs from the Universe
As soon as I sat down to write, these lyrics popped into my mind...

SIGNS
Sometimes I ask my angels and guides to really smack be upside the head with the signs. I'll ask for signs that my signs are real! LOL! Can anyone relate?
I think on some level we are all looking for reassurance that we are on the right path. Some can achieve that through meditating and feeling a deep sense of knowing, others set intentions before bed and get answers in the form of dreams, some journal and the clarity comes, some ask all their friends and family to weigh in, and others request signs from the universe.
Questioning things is normal. Wanting reassurance is normal. And there is no wrong way to approach it. But, regardless of the method, I think ultimately it's about coming home to yourself, connecting with your true desires, getting still, and trusting what comes through for you.
One of the first spiritual books I read was The Universe Has Your Back by Gabby Bernstein. I walked into my local library and the binding of the book was sticking out a little further on the shelf than the others and it caught my eye. After a quick glance, I knew I had to read it. After reading that book I signed up for her course, and I was introduced to so many new ideas - asking for signs was one of them.
Gabby says, "Asking for a sign means that you’re willing to collaborate with the Universe. It means that you’re committed to releasing structure and control to instead be led by a power greater than you. If you don’t get your sign, that’s a sign too!"
