Tap Into Being A Woman of Your Word

Happy New Year!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and found time for some relaxation.


As we kick off the New Year, I know many of you have New Years Resolutions that you've made. Sticking to them can often be a challenge. So, today I am tapping with you on being a woman or man of your word!


We are so good at showing up for other people. When we tell a friend or family member we'll do something for them, we do it. But, when we tell ourselves we will do something like go to the gym, read more, eat healthier etc., it's the first thing to go.


Why is that? Why do we put ourselves on the back burner? It could be you are short on time. Or you're exhausted, or one of a million reasons we come up with. None of that is serving us.


Start small. What's a commitment you can realistically stick to for yourself? 10 minutes of reading before bed? Starting with cooking one healthy meal a week? Doing laps around the dining room table in between work calls? Choose something that is doable. Start there!


If you come up on bumps along the way (and we all will!), tap about how you are feeling. Acknowledge and work through the emotions. And if you mess up? No biggy! Don't give up. Simply choose to start again.
