The purpose of releasing resentment is to increase your energy, and ultimately feel better! When you are able to acknowledge the resentment and recognize that the anger and emotion you are feeling is really directed at yourself, the resentment can begin to fade away.
It's important to remember that you choose your thoughts. No one else can do that for you. You are in the driver's seat. Bring your attention to the present moment. In doing so, you can begin to release the weight of the past that has led to these feelings.
